CHARITIES

The aim of all GT Live Sessions events is to promote and celebrate local live music, whilst supporting local songwriters and performers. However it was clear from the beginning that, with the help of sponsors, it would be possible to raise some money for charities at the same time. So far, all of the One Spring Afternoon festivals, the One Summer’s Day festivals and the One Winter’s Night concerts have been charity events. For each of these non-profit events, Gavin always donates 100% of all profits to a specially chosen local / national charity.

Raised £3,400 for MACMILLAN CANCER CARE and THE DETECTING WOMEN'S CANCER APPEAL.

ONE WINTER'S NIGHT 2016
Raised £5,000 for SHOOTING STAR CHASE and ST LUKE'S CANCER CENTRE.

DAVID BOWIE TRIBUTE NIGHT
Raised £360 for CANCER RESEARCH UK.
